I will reiterate the importance of what Yatsufusa said, clarify some details on the project, provide some examples to work from, be a director! There's a lot of music talent on this site but you need to address what kind of genres, instruments, or vibes you are looking for. Post images of the actual project if you have them. Sometimes just the imagery or theme of the project can inspire ideas!
You can also just browse the music scene here for a while, find something that you'd be happy using (even if it's old, who cares?), and just ask the musicians if you can use their music royalty free for a non-profit project. There's a check box we always have to hit when we upload our music that clarifies if we're ok with our stuff being used, I always check "contact me first." On every audio page you will find a box that says "Licensing Terms," that's what I'm referring to. Go hunting :)
